Some Spurs fans beg Mourinho to unleash 6’4 star against Chelsea tomorrow

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are calling on Jose Mourinho to start Carlos Vinicius against Chelsea tomorrow night.

Spurs welcome their city rivals to North London on the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Without the injured Harry Kane, Mourinho’s side looked pretty toothless going forward and it was a relatively simple win for the hosts.

The Tottenham boss did introduce Vinicius at half time and the big striker – who stands at 6’4 – came closer than any of his team-mates to equalising by seeing his goal-bound short get tipped past the post in the final 10 minutes.

The 25-year-old, who joined the Lilywhites on a season-long loan from Benfica, has only managed 68 minutes of Premier League football under Mourinho, all of which have been substitute appearances.

And some fans of the North London club want him to spearhead their attack against the Blues on Thursday.
