Rhodes spent eight-and-a-half-years coaching Sheffield Wednesday’s goalkeepers.

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are calling for Andy Rhodes’ return after the former Owls goalkeeper coach was sacked by Oldham Athletic.
Rhodes quit his role of eight-and-a-half years to become Frankie Bunn’s number two in June, having previously played for and manager the Lancashire club.
But the 54-year-old had his contract unexpectedly terminated on Friday.
In the meantime, Sheffield Wednesday have failed to keep a single Championship clean sheet, with Cameron Dawson promoted as first choice goalkeeper after Nicky Weaver took Rhodes’ old job.
But the decision to do so has split the Owls’ fanbase, many of whom have called for the reinstatement of Keiren Westwood, the experienced shot-stopper who first encountered Rhodes in his early teens.

This is what they’re saying about the Doncaster-born coach on Twitter…
Rhodes’ son, Jordan, also left Sheffield Wednesday in the recent close-season, joining Norwich City on a season-long loan.
Could Rhodes be the answer to Sheffield Wednesday’s defensive shortcomings?
