The former Sheffield Wednesday captain became a Sunderland player on Friday.

Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting to Glenn Loovens’ Sunderland move on Twitter.
The former Wednesday captain has signed a two-year deal at the Stadium of Light after his release by the Owls at the end of last season.
Loovens spent the best part of five years at Hillsborough, where he arrived on a free transfer from Real Zaragoza.
In that time, the 34-year-old helped Wednesday to two top six finishes, narrowly missing out on a place in the Premier League in 2016.
But can Loovens have a similar impact on Sunderland, who are looking to bounce back to the Championship at the very first attempt this coming campaign?
This is what those of a Sheffield Wednesday persuasion are saying about the Dutchman…
Loovens will reunite with former Sheffield Wednesday teammates Chris Maguire and Aiden McGeady at Sunderland – his sixth permanent club after Feyenoord, Cardiff City, Celtic, Real Zaragoza and the Owls.
Is Loovens a good signing for Sunderland?
