Sheffield Wednesday’s result at Leeds United could affect their bitterest rivals, Sheffield United.

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are split over how their side should approach Saturday’s trip to Leeds United. Winning would keep alive Wednesday’s slim hopes of a play-off finish, whilst simultaneously aiding Sheffield United’s quest for automatic promotion.
And while many of a Sheffield Wednesday persuasion are urging Steve Bruce’s team to go for victory, others are more than happy to roll over and take a beating.
This is what they’re saying ahead of the Owls’ trip to Leeds…
Jonathan Brown @ricekrispiekid:
It’s a no brainer on Saturday now…Go to Leeds and ******* win. Ridiculous to think otherwise #swfc
**** anyone else or results around us, hope we smash Leeds and every other team we face! Sets us up nicely for next season #SWFC
Any Wednesday fan even thinking about wanting us to loose Saturday should be ashamed! If you don’t want us to win every game what’s point in supporting us! **** United, **** Leeds & **** anyone else, we should go out to win every game. I hope we beat the scum 6-0! UTOx #SWFC
I hope we play the kids and Leeds turn us over. ANYONE but them blunt ******** #swfc
Not going down
Not going up
Sheffield Wednesday and we dont give a ****
ALL LEEDS ARENT WE? #SWFC
ryan @uto_wawaw: Replying to @_decswfc:
We’re not getting playoffs now regardless, let Leeds beat us and go back 2nd, can’t be having them ******** going up second
Leeds returned to second in the Championship after winning at Preston on Tuesday, with Sheffield United only able to draw at Birmingham.
But the Blades can crank the pressure back up on their Yorkshire rivals with their game at home to Millwall kicking off two-and-a-half hours before the game at Elland Road.

Sheffield Wednesday are 10th in the standings – six points behind sixth-placed Bristol City, who visit play-off rivals Aston Villa next.
