Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United are experiencing contrasting Championship seasons.

Several Sheffield Wednesday fans are making the same joke at the expense of their city rivals, Sheffield United.

The Blades currently sit second in the Championship standings – three points behind the joint league leaders, Norwich City and Leeds United.

But the following Owls supporters are convinced that Sheffield United are destined for promotion, after the arrival of the Chinese new year.

Fans of both Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United famously refer to the others as ‘pigs’, although the true origin of the slur continues to be debated.
