It’s fair to say that Real Madrid supporters don’t seem too bothered about losing Gareth Bale to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Mail suggest that Tottenham are about to take both Bale and Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, in what looks an extremely exciting double swoop for the North London side.
However, Madrid supporters are not unduly concerned by either of the deals.
Bale has fallen completely out of favour in the Spanish capital, and the reaction to his departure to Spurs rather sums up the feelings towards him.
Reguilon’s move, meanwhile, has a buy-back clause in it – and Madrid supporters are happy that safety net has been secured.
Regardless of Madrid’s supporters’ opinions, Tottenham fans are delighted with the news of the double move.
Bale and Reguilon are big upgrades on their current options, and should make them a much stronger team for the campaign, as they push to break back into the top four.
