Glasgow Rangers youngster Kyle Bradley started at Ibrox as Steven Gerrard’s men ran out 3-0 winners.

A number of Rangers fans took to Twitter to reassure Kyle Bradley after the Gers youngster took to social media to comment on his pre-season display at the weekend, admitting that he was not good enough in the 3-0 win at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s side continued to build momentum ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season as Alfredo Morelos and Nikola Katic scored for the Light Blues before Alex Bruce rounded off the scoring with an own goal to send Wigan Athletic away from Ibrox with a heavy defeat.
With the game acting as Rangers’ final pre-season encounter, Gerrard took the opportunity to make a raft of changes with a number of younger players handed chances against the Championship newbies.
Bradley was one of those who got a chance, as he played the first 45 minutes for the Gers before being replaced at the break by Nikola Katic. But unfortunately, the 19-year-old was not able to take full advantage of the opportunity.

The teenager looked nervy in the early stages, but did seem to recover as the half went on. Nevertheless, he took to Twitter to express some disappointment at his performance in the victory.
Bradley may not have been happy with his display, but there is undoubtedly a fantastic opportunity for the youngster to keep himself in Steven Gerrard’s plans for the coming season with Fabio Cardoso being released earlier this week.

And perhaps sensing that he needs encouraging with Cardoso now out of the equation, a number of Rangers fans responded to his tweet with positive messages.
