Ibrox club Rangers took on Osijek away from home in the first leg of Europa League Qualifying Second Round tie on Thursday evening.
The Gers won the game 1-0, thanks to Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos’s goal in the 18th minute.
Rangers right-back Tavernier started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 26-year-old former Newcastle United man has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win.
A number of Rangers fans have responded to the message from the 26-year-old, with some urging him to defend better while showing great confidence in the season ahead.

Rangers are doing well in the Europa League qualifiers, and the Ibrox faithful will be confident of the Gers eventually progressing to the group stage of the European competition.
The Gers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title as well.
Although the Hoops are the favourites for the league title, there is a certain buzz and confidence around Rangers at the moment.
