Some Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Jamie Murphy’s goal for Hibernian against Celtic this afternoon.
Murphy joined Hibernian on loan from Rangers in the summer of 2020, and the deal will be made permanent at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old winger was in action for Hibs against the Gers’ bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
The Scotsman scored for the home team, as the Hoops were forced to come from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw at Easter Road.
Murphy scored from close range in the seventh minute of the second half after Scott Bain saved a penalty from Kevin Nisbet.
According to WhoScored, the winger took two shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 62.5%, won one header, took 27 touches, made two tackles and one clearance, and put in three crosses.
The result means that Rangers could extend their lead over second-placed and defending champions Celtic to 11 points if they win against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Sunday.
Some Rangers fans have praised Murphy for his goal against Celtic today, and below are some of the best comments on Twitter.
