Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the Ibrox club’s decision to send Eduardo Herrera out on loan in the summer transfer window.

As announced on the official Twitter page of Santos Laguna, Rangers forward Herrera has joined the Mexican club on loan from the Gers this summer.

The 29-year-old Mexico international forward moved to Rangers in the summer of 2017 when he joined from UNAM for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £1.5 million.

The former Pumas Morelos forward failed to make an impact at Ibrox, as he struggled to play regular for the Gers.

As stated on STV, the Mexican forward scored only two goals in 24 appearances for Rangers during the 2017-18 campaign.

With Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard being appointed the new Rangers manager earlier this summer, it seems that there is no place in the team for the 29-year-old.
