Supporters of Rangers are delighted that Arsenal have knocked Slavia Prague out of the Europa League this evening.
Mikel Arteta’s side won the second leg of their quarter-final tie 4-0 away from home in Prague, going through to the semi-finals 5-1 on aggregate in the process.
Slavia defeated Gerrard’s Rangers 3-1 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
The second leg of the tie in Ibrox was a very controversial affair and has been much talked about because of the incident involving Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara and Ondrej Kudela of Prague.
According to BBC Sport, Kudela has been banned for 10 matches for racially abusing Kamara, while the Rangers star has been suspended for three games after being found guilty of assaulting the 34-year-old in the tunnel.
Rangers striker Kemar Roofe has been banned for four games as well for his challenge on Ondrej Kolar, who suffered a fractured skull because of it.
