Glasgow Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty was left out of the side at Ibrox at the weekend.

Several Rangers fans believe that Kyle Lafferty may have already made his final appearance for the Gers after he was left out of their squad for their Scottish Premiership clash at the weekend.

Gerrard did not name Lafferty during his assessment of the players’ performances. But plenty of Rangers supporters suggested on Twitter that the Northern Irishman must be one of those facing an uncertain future after the lineup for Sunday’s clash with Aberdeen was announced.
Lafferty has struggled to force his way into the first-team at times this season following his £450,000 move in the summer (via Evening Times). But it was particularly telling that he was left out of the side against the Dons.

Gerrard did not name a single forward on the bench, with wingers Daniel Candeias and Glenn Middleton proving to be the most attacking options available to the Gers boss in the 2-0 victory.
And that has left a number of fans suggesting that they would be extremely surprised if Lafferty played for the Light Blues again with the summer just around the corner.
