Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack was superb as the Ibrox side drew their opening Scottish Premiership game.

A number of Rangers fans, including Oli McBurnie, took to Twitter to comment on Ryan Jack’s superb performance during the Gers’ Scottish Premiership opener on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard’s men were handed a tough start to the domestic campaign as they travelled to Aberdeen, the side that have finished as Celtic’s closest challengers in the last four seasons. And it appeared that Rangers would have a mountain to climb in the early stages after Alfredo Morelos picked up an early red card.
However, Rangers were fantastic in their response and Jack was a key player for the side. Jack endured a difficult first season with the Gers, but appears to be a completely different player under Gerrard.
The 26-year-old was largely pulling the strings in the middle of the park and undoubtedly stepped up against the side he left to join Rangers little over a year ago.

And it would probably not surprise some that Aberdeen’s equaliser only came after Jack had to be replaced after picking up a nasty injury with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Unsurprisingly, a number of fans lauded Jack’s display on social media after the game. Amongst the supporters commenting on Twitter was Oli McBurnie, the Swansea striker and boyhood Gers fan. The Scotland international was hugely impressed by Jack, and his opinion was echoed by many others.
