Some Rangers fans have been reacting after Eddie Howe was announced as the new manager of Newcastle United.
So, why do Rangers fans care about Howe going to Newcastle? Well, this manager move has given them a prime opportunity to poke a bit of fun at their biggest rivals.
Cast your mind back to the summer and it looked as though Howe was going to be headed to Celtic Park, but a late breakdown in negotiations led to the Englishman turning the Glasgow side down.
Celtic instead opted to appoint Ange Postecoglou, and as of yet, the Australian hasn’t managed to get the better of Rangers in the title race.
Indeed, Celtic remain four points behind Rangers, and while Postecoglou is struggling to wrestle the Scottish title back from the Bhoys’ rivals, Howe is now managing the richest club in world football.
