The new Rangers recruits made their first starts for the Ibrox outfit, now managed by their former colleague Steven Gerrard.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard gave full debuts to Liverpool loanees Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria on Thursday.
And the pair helped Rangers to a 1-0 win over NK Osijek in the Europa League’s second qualifying round, with Alfredo Morelos grabbing the Gers a vital away goal.
Kent’s appearance in Croatia was his first since signing moving to Ibrox earlier this week, while Ejaria had appeared as a substitute in each of Rangers’ previous two qualifiers.
But what did Rangers fans make of the Liverpool youngsters’ showings? This is what some of them are saying on Twitter, both separately and individually…
Kent
Ejaria
Both Kent and Ejaria are on long-term contracts at Liverpool, whose youth system they progressed through.
And a good season at Rangers – where their ex-Reds colleagues Jordan Rossiter, Jon Flanagan, Gary McAllister, Michael Beale, Tom Culshaw, Jordan Milsom and Gerrard are also employed – could see the pair force their way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the 2019/20 season.
