Young-Coombes moved to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in January, and helped the Ibrox side’s U17s progress to the ALKASS Cup final this week.

Some Rangers fans are struggling to believe that Chelsea have allowed the Gers to sign Nathan Young-Coombes.
Young-Coombes moved to Rangers on a two-and-a-half-year contract in January, after spells in the youth systems of Chelsea and Crystal Palace – his boyhood club.
And the 16-year-old striker has already made a positive impact on his new employers, helping the Ibrox side’s Under-17s to the ALKASS International Cup final this week.
On current form, though, it may not be long until Young-Coombes outgrows that particular age group.

And the following Rangers fans are already excited by the Englishman’s potential – which, if fulfilled, could help to ease the pain of losing another youngster, Billy Gilmour, to Chelsea last year.
Rangers beat Japan’s Kashiwa 5-1 in the semi-finals on Wednesday, courtesy of goals from Arron Lyall, Young-Coombes, Kai Kennedy (two) and Alexander Lowry.
The young Gers will now face AS Roma in the final in Qatar on Friday.
How good a signing could Young-Coombes be for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers?
