The Rangers midfielder is said to want to quit Ibrox amid fears he won’t be pivotal to the plans of new boss Steven Gerrard.
Some Rangers fans aren’t buying reports linking Ibrox midfielder Josh Windass with a move to West Ham United.
The Daily Mail claims Windass is wanted by West Ham – along with Burnley, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion – amid fears he won’t be pivotal to the plans of Rangers’ new manager Steven Gerrard this season.
Rangers are said to want £3 million for Windass, although the newspaper adds that offers are expected to be lower than that with rumours of a release clause rubbished.
While West Ham and Burnley, especially, should have little trouble funding a move for Windass, the 24-year-old could face similar issues at a Premier League club as he is said to have at Rangers.

Windass, son of the former Bradford City and Hull City striker, Dean, scored 18 goals and assisted eight for Rangers last season – his second since signing from Accrington Stanley.
