The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has already brought one of the player’s teammates to Ibrox.

Some Rangers fans are urging their side to enter the running to sign David Turnbull.
Turnbull scored or made 23 goals in 34 games for Rangers’ Scottish Premiership rivals, Motherwell, this past campaign.
And according to The Daily Mail, he could soon become the subject of a £1.2 million approach from the Gers’ fiercest foes, Celtic.
But the following Rangers supporters hope that if Turnbull does move to Glasgow, it is to Govan and not Parkhead…
The Motherwell CEO, Alan Burrows, was quick to respond to Friday’s speculation, insisting once more that Turnbull will only leave Fir Park in a club-record deal.
The late Phil O’Donnell remains the Steelmen’s most expensive ever export, costing Celtic £1.75 million in 1994.
Rangers are not short of bodies in Turnbull’s favoured central midfield position, although there are doubts over the futures of Graham Dorrans, Greg Docherty and Jordan Rossiter at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard’s side have already signed up one Motherwell youngster, Jake Hastie, ahead of the new campaign.
