The Gers secured a very slender advantage in their bid to reach the Europa League group stages by beating Alashkert 1-0 at Ibrox.
And it was a goal from the Rangers marksman who did the damage, scoring midway through the second half.

Brilliant win
Prior to kickoff, a 1-0 victory might’ve been considered a little underwhelming – and for good reason.
But this was actually a fine win for Rangers because John Lundstram received a first-half red card, giving Steven Gerrard’s side very much an uphill task.
And make no mistake, Gerrard will be livid with the former Sheffield United midfielder but the response from his troops – including Morelos – will delight him.
The light Blues still have it all to do next week, but this goal from the South American gives them the advantage.
