
Some Leeds United supporters would rather sign the Leicester City winger Demarai Gray than a rumoured alternative.
Gray is on Leeds’ radar as they seek to add another wide player to their squad, according to The Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Leicester and has failed to make any of the Foxes’ Premier League squads this season, with his only action coming in the EFL Cup.
And his future at the King Power Stadium looks even more bleak after Leicester signed Cengiz Under from Roma last week.
Gray’s manager, Brendan Rodgers, has already admitted that the former England Under-21 international could leave ahead of next month’s transfer deadline – knowing that Leicester could miss out on a fee if he stays until next summer.
And Leeds could be encouraged to move before then.
Leeds have also been linked with the Manchester United winger Daniel James, a player they came close to signing ahead of his £15 million move to Old Trafford last year.
