Everton ran out 2-1 winners against Leeds at Elland Road yesterday, but Raphinha certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
The Brazilian winger was nothing short of sensational, as Leeds pushed for an equaliser in the second half.
Raphinha scored Leeds’ goal and was a constant menace to Everton’s defence throughout.
It was also notable just how quickly the summer signing has settled in to Marcelo Bielsa’s system, as he got through so much running off the ball.
And Everton fans admit that they were hugely impressed by Raphinha’s display.
It has to be said that Leeds seem to have picked up a wonderful bargain by bringing Raphinha in.
The Whites paid £17 million to land him in the summer (Goal), and that is looking like one of the best pieces of business that any Premier League side pulled off.
Raphinha now has four goals this term, and is rapidly becoming one of Leeds’ most influential players.
