Newcastle United are said to be readying a loan approach for the Arsenal striker.

Newcastle United fans are reacting on Twitter to speculation linking their side with a move for Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck.
Teamtalk claimed earlier on Monday that Newcastle – who continue to credited with interest in West Brom’s Salomon Rondon – are ready to make an offer to loan the striker, which would see them take on his wages of more than £100,000 a week.
And while the Chronicle has since warned Magpies fans not to get ‘carried away’ by the rumour, many have been left undeterred.
This is what they’re saying…
Welbeck, who appeared for England at this summer’s World Cup, recently entered the final year of his contract at Arsenal, and a temporary transfer is therefore unlikely to be in the Gunners’ best interests.
Newcastle, however, could struggle to sanction a permanent deal for the 27-year-old unless funds can be raised through player sales.
Would the Arsenal striker be a good addition for Newcastle?
