Newcastle United are struggling in the Premier League at the moment.

Rafael Benitez is one of the best managers in the world, but recent results and performances have led to some Newcastle United fans criticising him and even questioning him.
Newcastle are playing in the Premier League this season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season.
The Magpies were always going to fight it tough in the top flight of English football this season, but things are looking very bleak at the moment.
The team are not playing well, failing to pick up points even at home and are gradually sliding down into the bottom three.
While it is clear that the current Newcastle squad is not great and many players are not good enough to play in the Premier League, fans have questioned Benitez’s team selection.

Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion assistant manager John Carver has given his take on the current situation at Newcastle.
Carver worked as a coach and manager at the Magpies, and he has had his say on the situation at the club.
“It does need to happen, everybody is aware of that, but the quicker it happens the better it is for that football club,” Carver told talkSPORT.
“Obviously they are my competitors now, all I’m worried about is West Brom, but Newcastle are in my heart and if they want to go forward over the years, then the takeover has got to happen and it has got to happen quickly.
“They have had one draw in eight games, almost similar to the record I had under different circumstances, but the Geordie fans will be so frustrated over what is going on and they will want it to happen now.”
