The St James’ Park duo are said to be in discussions on signing new deals at Newcastle.

The 19-year-old burst on to the scene prior to the international break, making national headlines with his winning goal against Manchester United.
It was subsequently reported that the midfielder earns just £850-per-week on his current deal, which expires at the end of this season (The Sun).
His brother Sean meanwhile has had a big 2019 too and is reported to be the subject of transfer interest from Manchester United.
No surprise then that the Magpies would be looking to tie both down to new long-term deals.
The Mail say that talks with Sean have reached an impasse, with the club hoping to sign him up on a massive six-year contract.
The club are a little more protected when it comes to the older brother though, who signed his last contract less than a year ago.
Still, it should be a clear priority to reward their progress and keep them as happy as possible, with both looking to have the potential to be top performers at the club over the next few years.

Some supporters are anxious to see deals done, although others are more cynical about the intentions of the hierarchy at St James’ Park.
