Some neutral fans are backing Dani Alves to join West Ham United.

The Paris Saint-Germain right-back is out of contract at the end of this season, and told the Telegraph this week the idea he might finish his career without having played in the Premier League is impossible.

He added: “For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.

“If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”

Alves has previously turned down moves to English football, with Manchester City the latest club to have their advances spurned in 2017.

Dani Alves of Paris Saint-Germain runs with the ball during the Ligue 1 match between Paris Saint Germain and EA Guingamp at Parc des Princes on April 29, 2018 in Paris, France.

But at 35, his chances are only getting slimmer, and that arguably increase West Ham’s chances of signing a player of his calibre.

And according to the following fans on Twitter, the Hammers’ London Stadium is the Brazilian’s most likely English destination.

West Ham are reported to be in talks to sign another high-profile star in Samir Nasri.

The 31-year-old, who played under the Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City, has been out of the game since February 2018 thanks to a doping ban.

He was most recently on the books of Antalysapor in Turkey’s Super League, following spells at Sevilla, City, Arsenal and Marseille.
