Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott seems to be struggling on loan at the moment.
Spurs sent the exciting 18-year-old prospect to Millwall for the 2020-21 campaign but it’s proving a very difficult season in the Championship for the youngster.
Parrott is yet to find the net in any of his 10 league outings for the Lions – and it was more of the same on Tuesday night.
The Irishman, who began his career at Tottenham, played 78 minutes of last night’s 0-0 draw away to Bournemouth and didn’t seem to cause all that many problems.
It’s worth pointing out that Parrott is a striker who hasn’t been playing as a traditional number nine in recent weeks, more as a wide player.
But here’s how some Millwall fans reacted to his display last night:
The problem with Parrott is that he’s had a lot of hype around him for the past year and a half, already making his Premier League debut for Tottenham.
But the reality is that he’s still only 18 and therefore is clearly nowhere near the finished article as of yet.
Things aren’t going great right now, but Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, two fellas who know a thing or two about football, both rate him and that’s what he needs to remember.
