The Manchester United defender is a rumoured summer target for Everton.

Manchester United fans are reacting to reports linking Chris Smalling with a summer move to Everton.
According to the Sun, Everton are hoping to sign Smalling at the end of his Manchester United contract next July – although the newspaper adds that the Red Devils do have a one-year extension option in their favour, which, for financial reasons, would be in the club’s best interests to trigger.
The 31-cap England international has spent the past eight years at Old Trafford, where he has won two Premier League titles, two domestic cups and a Europa League.
But his recent form has left a lot to be desired and some of a Manchester United persuasion are not only keen to see him depart for Everton, they want it to happen ASAP.
This is what is being said on Twitter…
Should Smalling move to Everton, he could reunite with two his old Manchester United colleagues, Michael Kane and Morgan Schneiderlin.
United paid a reported fee of £10 million to acquire the former non league player from Fulham.
