Some Manchester City fans on social media have been reacting after Antoine Griezmann was sent off against Liverpool on Tuesday.
The Frenchman was sent off for a high foot, and it’s fair to say it was a controversial incident.
Diego Simeone certainly didn’t believe it was a red card, while Liverpool supporters on social media argued the opposite.
Interestingly, Manchester City fans on social media had plenty to say about this incident.
Indeed, City supporters were quick to compare this challenge to Sadio Mane’s foul on Ederson back in 2017 which saw the Senegalese winger sent off for a similar incident as his studs connected with the goalkeeper’s head.
Liverpool fans protested Mane’s innocence at the time, claiming that it was an accident, while they were on the opposite side of the fence for the 52nd-minute incident with Griezmann on Tuesday.
