Liverpool fans on Twitter want Jurgen Klopp to sign Adama Traore after his performance for Wolves during their Europa League defeat to Sevilla on Tuesday.

The Times reported last month that Liverpool are keen on Traore, but they have been left dumbfounded at the thought that Wolves want £135 million for their man.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were knocked out of Europe yesterday when they were beaten 1-0 by Sevilla, but it could have been so, so different.

In the first half, Traore’s powerful and unstoppable run from his own half eventually saw him winning a penalty, but the spot-kick was missed by Raul Jimenez.

The Liverpool faithful were seriously impressed by Traore’s run, and now that Wolves’ season is finished, their fans want him signed.

This campaign has lasted over a year for Wolves, and during that period, Traore has been mightily impressive for the Midlands outfit.

It’s understandable why the likes of Liverpool are keen on his services and Wolves will do well to keep hold of him ahead of the new campaign in September.

There’s no way that the Premier League champions will splash out big, big money on a player like Traore because he wouldn’t get ahead of their front three, so you’re not paying that much money for a back-up.

Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to Traore’s performance in the Europa League:
