Leicester defender Maguire featured for England in their World Cup quarter-final tie against Sweden on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old produced a superb display for the Three Lions, as Gareth Southgate’s side won 2-0 to book their place in the semi-finals of the prestigious competition.
The former Sheffield United star scored England’s opening goal on the half-hour mark and was brilliant at the back.
Some Liverpool fans were impressed with the performance of Maguire and have urged the Merseyside outfit to secure his services in the summer transfer window.
Maguire has been on the books of Leicester since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Hull City for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £17 million.
The 25-year-old England international – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – played in all 38 Premier League matches for Leicester last season.
