Liverpool fans want Danny Ward to be given a run until a replacement is signed.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius made another serious error last night in their pre-season friendly win over Tranmere.
The mistake prone German spilled a free-kick for Tranmere scored a tap in, and underlined the fact Liverpool just cannot rely on him heading into the 2018/19 season.
Karius only played part of the friendly, with Wales international Danny Ward also selected.
A promotion winner with Huddersfield in 2016/17, Ward had a wasted year last season with Liverpool’s under-23s.
Last night against Tranmere he was solid, the opposite of Loris Karius.

Liverpool have been dragging their heels over signing a new goalkeeper, with top targets Jan Oblak and Alisson regarded as too expensive.
Danny Ward is seen as a reliable alternative if Liverpool do not make a move, and some fans would rather see him given a run in the side…
