Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been linked with taking Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke to the Scottish Premiership.

Some Liverpool fans on Twitter have slammed reported Rangers target Dominic Solanke for his performance this morning.
Rangers were heavily linked with a move for the 20-year-old striker for much of June, but The Scottish Sun reported two weeks ago that he was “still a possibility” for the Gers.
And it looks like some fans of the Anfield club would be fully on board with the prospect of seeing him leave Merseyside in some capacity this summer after his display against Manchester City.
Solanke replaced Daniel Sturridge at half time in this morning’s 2-1 win over the Premier League champions in New Jersey, but the big striker, who won the penalty which led to Sadio Mane’s late winner, struggled to leave a positive impression on the game – and the supporters – for the most part.
Whether it’s Solanke – who earns £25,000 per week in England [Spotrac] – or not, Rangers probably need another striker this summer.
Alfredo Morelos hasn’t dazzled under Steven Gerrard as of yet, while Umar Sadiq, a season-long loan signing from Roma, was left back in Glasgow as the Gers travelled to Croatia for a Europa League qualifier on Wednesday.
Ideally, the Liverpool icon could do with more firepower and despite his perceived shocker this morning, Solanke still might be an excellent option.
