A number of Liverpool fans were not impressed with what they saw from Adam Lallana in the latest pre-season friendly.

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Adam Lallana’s performance during the second-half of their final pre-season friendly which ended in a 3-1 win over Torino at Anfield on Tuesday night.
The Reds have enjoyed a very good summer on and off the pitch. The squad now looks to be in the kind of position which has left many suggesting that they are the most likely side to stop Manchester City winning the Premier League title this year.
And they go into their season-opener with West Ham this weekend off the back of an extremely good run in pre-season. Jurgen Klopp’s men won all but two of their games, and they go into Sunday after securing a 3-1 win over Torino.
But while several players will be delighted with their contributions over the summer, it appears that many fans are not happy with Lallana’s performance against the Serie A side – with some even suggesting that he should be sold by Klopp.

The 30-year-old was once an indispensable member of the side following his £25 million switch from Southampton – fee reported by the Guardian – but he has clearly fallen well down the pecking order over the last year, with injuries allowing others to force their way into Klopp’s plans.
His performance against Torino saw Lallana show plenty of determination, but he was unable to make a major impact on the contest, and several Liverpool fans are now suggesting that he should be nowhere near Klopp’s strongest team for the coming campaign, with some even believing that letting him go may be a wise move.

Here is what some of the Reds fans made of Lallana’s second-half display on Tuesday…
