The Liverpool youngster has yet to make his competitive debut for the Reds.

Some Liverpool fans don’t understand Jurgen Klopp’s decision not to name Rhian Brewster on the bench for last night’s match away to Napoli in the UEFA Champions League.
As reported by Sky Sports, Brewster was taken off 15 minutes into an U23s match at the weekend after Divock Origi picked up an injury against Newcastle United.
Included in the travelling squad for the trip to Italy, some had anticipated he could be named on the bench for the European champions, with the potential of a senior debut.
When the teams were announced though, Brewster was nowhere to be seen, leaving supporters perplexed.
With just Xherdan Shaqiri available as an outright attacking option, Brewster’s snub was curious.
Clearly Klopp doesn’t quite feel he is ready for first-team action, especially in a high stakes match away from home in the Champions League.
Brewster was a notable performer during the club’s pre-season preparations, scoring against Tranmere Rovers, Bradford City and Borussia Dortmund.
The Liverpool boss said of his progress in July, as quoted by The Metro: “Rhian Brewster is a top striker, he is a top talent and I have told him already that he has an important role this year – but how important depends on him.”
His only inclusion in a match squad to date this season was in the UEFA Super Cup final, when he was an unused substitute.

It appears the 19-year-old still has a bit of work to do before finally making his bow.
