Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are sick over seeing a picture of Georginio Wijnaldum.
After a long and drawn-out contract saga, the Reds ultimately failed to keep the Dutchman at Anfield.
Wijnaldum left Liverpool to join Paris Saint-Germain as a free transfer earlier this summer.
Due to his participation at Euro 2020, the Netherlands international couldn’t be unveiled in the French capital.
But he has been now and here’s how some Liverpool fans reacted to the image of him wearing a PSG shirt:
Replacement is vital
It is so, so important that Liverpool sign a replacement for the former Newcastle United player.
Everybody knows that Jurgen Klopp has ready-made replacements in the form of Curtis Jones, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
But if any of them were on Wijnaldum’s level, they would’ve played ahead of him and the truth is that the midfielder has been an ever-present figure in Klopp’s best XI for years.
And with Keita’s injury issues, Jones’s inexperience and Klopp’s reported plan to play Oxlade-Chamberlain further forward, it would be a massive gamble to not replace the Dutchman.
