Liverpool supporters felt the left-back was deserving on being included in the team of the year.

Liverpool star Andy Robertson has missed out on the FIFA team of the year, with the honour instead going to Real Madrid man Marcelo.
Robertson had a phenomenal 2018/19 season, making 13 assists in 48 apperances and helping the Reds to UEFA Champions League glory.
The defender played in every single match he was available for throughout Liverpool’s European campaign.
Also showing exceptional form in the Premier League, helping Jurgen Klopp’s side have the best defensive record in the league, some feel he is far more deserving of the honour in the FIFA team than Marcelo.
Madrid had a pretty poor season by their standards, finishing third in La Liga and exiting the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage.
Their only honour came in the Club World Cup, a competition they were massive favourites to win.
Robertson, who signed up at Anfield for a budget initial fee of £8m (BBC), has had a remarkable rise in club football over the last few years and this honour would have been fine recognition.
Team victories will be far more important to the Scotland international and perhaps this snub will serve as extra motivation to help Liverpool pick up a much-coveted English Premier League title this season.

Liverpool supporters were certainly not happy to see him sit out, with this lot taking to Twitter to share their thoughts over the last 24 hours…
