Some Liverpool fans on social media have been blown away by the sheer size of Taiwo Awoniyi after seeing him in pre-season training.
The striker is finally able to link up with his Liverpool teammates after being granted a work permit, and for many Liverpool supporters, this is their first time laying eyes on Awoniyi.
The forward joined the Reds in 2015 under Brendan Rodgers, but after years of work permit issues, he’s still yet to make his debut for the club.
Awoniyi has been linked with a permanent move away from Anfield this summer, but it seems as though some Reds supporters are keen to see him given a chance after seeing his physique.
Of course, physicality isn’t everything in football, but it has to be said that Awoniyi looks like a nightmare to defend against.
Awoniyi towers over the rest of the squad, and even though the whole team was in the image posted on Twitter, it was Awoniyi who mainly caught the eye.
