Goalkeeper Kalinic came in for Danijel Subasic as the Blazers took on Iceland in their final Group D encounter on Tuesday.
And the 28-year-old made a string of saves to help Croatia preserve their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 win – simultaneously denying their opponents a passage to the last-16.
In doing so, he caught the eye of several of a Liverpool persuasion – with their side’s problems in his position well-documented.

Liverpool are expected to strengthen in goal this summer, after error-strewn seasons for senior pair Simon Mignolet and – notably – Loris Karius.
And Kalinic, who plays for KAA Gent in Belgium’s top flight, could prove a shrewd addition for the Reds.
