Curtis Jones impressed for Liverpool last night.

Liverpool teenager Curtis Jones is earning himself a legion of fans with a series of impressive pre-season displays.
Jones came off the bench in Liverpool’s 2-0 friendly win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Liverpool scored two goals in the second half, with Lazar Markovic a surprise name on the scoresheet, followed by Daniel Sturridge.
17-year-old Curtis Jones was a lively influence, showing why he has earned rave reviews with his form for the under-18s and under-23s.

The midfielder outshone Wales international Ben Woodburn, who had started the game at Ewood Park.
It may be too much of a leap to suggest Jones is in line for regular first team chances this season, but he is making a name for himself and could get some minutes in the cup.
