It’s probably safe to say that Liverpool fans won’t be sending Everton attacker Richarlison any Christmas cards this year.

Richarlison is an unpopular figure among supporters of the Anfield club at the moment for an incident in the Merseyside derby last month.

Toward the end of the game, the Everton star lunged into Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara in a tackle that the latter still hasn’t recovered from, over a month later.

The former Bayern Munich midfielder was only back from a month-long absence, to make matters worse for the Reds.

Earlier this evening, Richarlison randomly started tweeting out the words to his own chant on Twitter.

And here’s how fans on both halves of the Merseyside divide responded to the Brazil international.

Thiago still isn’t back for Liverpool, having been absent for their session at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday ahead of Sunday’s clash with Leicester City.

Defeat would leave Jurgen Klopp’s side four points behind the top-of-the-table Foxes.
