Some Leeds United fans have responded to Diego Llorente’s post on Twitter ahead of the match against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Leeds will take on Brighton at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will head into the game against the Seagulls on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Crawley Town away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.

Ahead of the game against Brighton this afternoon, Llorente has posted a message on Twitter, teasing that he could start.

The Spain international central defender has had injury and fitness issues since he joined Leeds from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £18 million.

According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old has played just 81 minutes in the league so far this season, and his return to full fitness is a huge boost to Leeds.
