Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.

According to The Mirror, Leeds – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – are interested in signing Wilson from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Marcelo Bielsa’s side are leading the chase for the Wales international, with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp open to letting the 23-year-old go.

It has been further added that the youngster wants to play regular first-team football next season, and that Liverpool will sell him for £20 million.

According to WhoScored, Wilson made 20 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Bournemouth during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring seven goals in the process.

The 23-year-old also played twice in the FA Cup and twice in the EFL Cup for the Cherries this past season, according to WhoScored.

Leeds have recently brought Jack Harrison back on loan from Manchester City, while Helder Costa’s loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers has also been made permanent, and the addition of Wilson would make the Whites very competitive in attack.
