Some Leeds United fans react to Paudie O’Connor loan move

Paudie O’Connor has joined Blackpool on loan from Leeds United.

Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the departure of Paudie O’Connor on a loan deal.

As announced on Leeds’s official website, the Championship club have sent O’Connor on a season-long loan deal to Blackpool in League One.

The 20-year-old central defender moved to the Whites from Limerick in 2017 and was quite impressed for the Under-23 side.

The centre-back made four appearances in the Championship during the 2017-18 campaign after making his debut for Sunderland, who are now in League One after getting relegated from the second tier of English football.

O’Connor is still very young and is quite unproven, and it would have been hard for the 20-year-old to play week in and week out for the Whites.

Leeds fans have taken twitter to give their reaction to the club’s decision to send O’Connor out on a season-long loan deal to Blackpool in the summer transfer window.
