Some Leeds United fans react after hearing about bid and response

Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s comments that the Ibrox club have turned down a bid for Ryan Kent.

Gerrard has told Rangers’ official Twitter page that Leeds have made an offer for the former Liverpool winger, but the Gers have rejected it.

The Daily Record has claimed that the promoted Premier League club’s offer for the 23-year-old was £8 million rising to £10 million.

Kent is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in the current Rangers team.

The former England Under-20 international has made a strong start to the season and has been among the goals.

According to WhoScored, the winger has scored three goals in five Scottish Premiership games for Rangers this season, as the Gers are at the top of the standings.

Leeds will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship and will need to strengthen their squad.
