Leeds face Bolton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Leeds United face fellow Championship side Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night in the first round of the Carabao Cup in what will be Marcelo Bielsa’s third game in charge – and some Leeds fans want Jamal Blackman to start.
Bielsa has started life at Leeds in excellent fashion, masterminding two wins from the club’s opening two games against promotion contenders Stoke City and Derby County with 3-1 and 4-1 wins.
Tuesday night promises an altogether different proposition with Leeds expected to make a number of changes to rest their starting players. The likes of Lewis Baker, Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford are expected to feature.
Another new signing, Chelsea loanee Blackman, could also be given the nod after joining the club this summer but has since found himself on the bench for the first two outings against Stoke and Derby.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been used between the sticks instead after starring towards the end of the 2017-18 campaign and remaining Bielsa’s first-choice throughout pre-season.
Some Leeds fans believe 24-year-old Blackman, who starred for Sheffield United last season, with Bielsa already stating that he will make changes. One fan reckons Blackman is a “much better keeper” than Peacock-Farrell.
