Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have identified a long-term replacement for Pablo Hernandez.
As he proved today in the 3-1 win at Derby, the Spanish playmaker continues to defy the aging process and he could well be an asset to United in the Premier League next season.
But Leeds will still have to sign somebody to take over the mantle eventually – and some fans of the Elland Road club believe that Eberchi Eze of QPR is the answer.
The 22-year-old is one of the Championship’s best players and has since being linked with a £20 million move to Newcastle United and Tottenham.
But the Whites, who are set for a nine-figure windfall after their promotion to the top flight, can start shopping for more expensive footballers these days.
Eze dazzled in Saturday’s 4-3 win over Millwall, scoring his side’s third of the afternoon for his 13th of the season.
And Leeds supporters on Twitter believe that he could be an ideal successor for Hernandez.
