Poveda was only used as a substitute last night as Leeds picked up a 4-0 win over Charlton Athletic, but his showing still caught the eye.
The 20-year-old claimed an assist as he set up Jamie Shackleton’s second goal in two matches.
And Leeds supporters are now sensing that Poveda could have a major role to play for them next term in the Premier League.
Leeds’ victory over Charlton just went on to further highlight how they have been the dominant force in the Championship this term.
Leeds were playing with very little to play for, with their title sealed, but they still were simply too good for Charlton – as they steamrolled Lee Bowyer’s side and condemned them to relegation.
