It’s fair to say that Helder Costa and Jack Harrison have both enjoyed brilliant starts to the Premier League season.
Early days, of course, but both of the United wingers look like they could be valuable assets for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season.
Harrison scored a beaut in their narrow defeat away to Premier League champions Liverpool last weekend, before Costa bagged himself a double in their win over Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Despite their form, Leeds are being linked with signing a wide player – a very high-profile wide player, too.
According to The Daily Star, Bielsa wants the club to get Manchester United winger Daniel James on loan, with the Welshman potentially set to drop down the pecking order if a Jadon Sancho or an Ivan Perisic arrives at Old Trafford.
James joined the Whites’ old enemy last summer for £15 million, six months after a botched switch to Elland Road.
The 22-year-old had a lukewarm first season in the big time, scoring three goals and setting up six in 33 Premier League appearances.
And Leeds fans on Twitter are all for signing the Wales international, with a lot of supporters insisting that a coach like Bielsa could take him to the next level.
