Leeds United completed their first signing of the summer on Tuesday.

The Championship club confirmed that they had signed Helder Costa on a permanent basis from Wolves.

Leeds brought the Portugal international to Elland Road on a season-long loan last summer, with an obligation to buy.

But now fans of the West Yorkshire side want Victor Orta to double up and get a deal for Jack Harrison sorted out.

The 23-year-old has been with United for two full seasons – separate loan agreements – and this year he has really kicked on under Marcelo Bielsa.

And now that Costa’s future is done, Leeds supporters are calling on the club to do the same with Harrison.

There is an argument to be made that Harrison should’ve been the priority over Costa.

The Manchester City-owned winger has scored six and set up eight league goals under Bielsa this season, while the Portuguese star has only managed four and six.

There isn’t much in it, but on the balance of play Harrison has arguably been the better player overall and getting him tied down might be more important than Costa.
