Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson was ruled out for up to four months in August [Sky Sports].

The 19-year-old joined Aberdeen on a half-season loan but returned to Thorp Arch only two weeks later after suffering an ankle injury in training.

The Scottish Premiership club confirmed that he might’ve been out until November.

But remarkably, the Leeds youngster is already headed back to Pittodrie.

Edmondson sent a post on Twitter, where he thanked Rob Price, United’s head of medicine and performance, for his astonishing recovery.

Here’s how Leeds fans responded to the teen striker on social media:

Price is clearly an important figure at Elland Road.

During Marcelo Bielsa’s two-year spell, the first team has been decimated by injuries to key players, but the personnel have been managed in the right way and so many have praised Price and his team for their efforts after regaining full fitness.

Edmondson’s issue was deemed serious enough to suggest he could be injured for the entirety of his stay in Scotland.

But now it seems like he’s got a second wind and hopefully the Leeds talent can stay fit from here on in.
